Thinking about a car with best MPG!

Considering gas is about $4.00 a gallon and rising, could hit $7.00-$8.00 within 18 months some analyists say. It might be times to consider upgrading to a small efficient vehicle like the toyota corolla or a Honda sub-compact manual trans. The hybrids are really too much more to consider them at this point I think. In 18 months GM is coming out with an electric car. Its painful to go to the gas station now, I find myself trying to plan my driving better, maybe hits 4-5 places at once instead of making more trips. Here is a good article.

using corn for fuel is a lie. I have done a little reading on it and the truth is if we used ALL the corn in the U.S. it would only give us 18% of our use. It is helping drive the prices crazy. Johnny law

I saw a program on Brazils solution to the gas problem. It was awesome. They have mile after mile of sugar cane fields. After harvesting the sugar and extracting first the molasses, then the brown sugar ,then the white sugar. The waste that is left (it looks like straw) is turned into ethanol. Most of the cars in Brazil will run on ethanol or a combo of gasoline and ethanol. Why can't we do that.We would have all the sugar we could use also and get away from the high fructose corn syrup that is killing us. No gas shortage in Brazil!!!

The reality is there is no oil shortage. Corn and sugar is food, not fuel. The high prices on gasoline, deisel, and on everything else is totally inflationary.
The root cause of all our woes is that the US Constitution is not being followed. We should be using gold and silver as currency not fiat paper. The US Constitution and the 50 State Constitutions are ignored, and Liberty is trampled at all levels. Yet we vote for the same "masters" year after year. No longer will I vote for Rebublicrats, I am voting for only those that will respect and enforce the Constitutions. Constitutions were drafted to restrain government, Ours were designed specifically to protect and enforce Liberty, yet when politicians are not checked by the voters, the result is lost liberty, undeclared wars, interventionalism, fiat money and inflation tax,tax rates of 53%!!! Wake up America! It is up to us to govern our government and vote out the republicrat frauds that have trampled our rights and squeezed us dry. Liberty or bust! I am voting Libertarian. Vote the lesser of two evils at your own peril.
