The gold Standard was what the Founding Fathers gave us. Sound money. Uninflateable. In 1913 our Constitutional rights to this sound money was stolen. Where was the outcry? The problems this country face is rooted in "Ungoverned Government". Many, if not most, of our Constitutional rights have been blatantly trampled since, but where is the outcry?
Many of us have been programmed by our masters to participate in a two party system where neither candidate upholds his/her oath of office to "Defend and Protect The Constitution of the United States" i.e. our liberties! The Republicans and Democrats have both been trampling our liberties for generations yet we continue to vote for them! Why? Where is the outcry? Other options have definately been offered.
Americans have not been governing the government. They have been voting single issues, or thier 'pet' issues, while electing the same republicrats over and over again. Losing thier liberties little by little. Until we get to where we are now. This Country looks nothing like what it's Constitution says! We let them. We have become complacent to the breech of contract between politicians and the people. It is high tide we hold them to the fire and vote the bastards out. No more lesser of two evils game, because it is a game to them. To vote the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil! Vote only for those that take the oath of office seriously, who stand for the US Constitution and the Constitutions of the 50 States! We could have all our liberties back in one election cycle if the people would just wake up, stop trying to vote strategically to vote in the lesser of two evils, and vote for men/women of integrity who understand that Constitutions are restraints on government, not the governed! And who will abide by them! I am voting Libertarian, they get it!

I have to say, after recent information, that the gold standard would be the wrong coarse of action. Silver is by far a better base for the dollar. And Congressional Greenbacks a far better choice than a reserve note. There hasn't been an audit of the nation's gold at Fort Knox since Eisenhaur was in office. I fear that a great amount (if not all) of our nation's gold has been sold to Europe for $35 an ounce and is now being slowly reintroduced at $900 an ounce...what a friggin deal huh?
Silver is far more plentiful and alot harder to corner. Greenbacks would not be based in debt, but real congressional moneys based on and redeemable in silver. Stable.
There has been only two small periods of time where congressional and constitutional money has been used as intended by the constitution. The green back was one, the other time was even before the constitution was a law! All other times in US history private owned central banks controlled the money supply. Inflation and rapid deflation was the norm, recession and depression was all we have known during these times! History is about to repeat itself on a global scale. Expect the first worldwide depression in all history as they squeeze the world for it's gold. Damn Rothchilds! Many third world nations are plummeted into this depression first, starvation, poverty, we are next! How you voting? Republican? Democrat?
Libertarians are the only ones that get it, and want greenbacks and hard currency, but I think we have been voting wrong for too long. Too late? I think this is the last election cycle where we can throw the central banks off. The last one. After this one we can all say hello to new fiat money and lost forever liberty! In 4 years we will have the NAU and CODEX. We won't be able to sell even corn or greenbeans without a liscence! The Pale Horse will ride! Barter will be outlawed!!!
